real audio file

is it possible to change a RealAudio file to an MP3 file? i have some RA files i'd like to put on a CD and be able to play them in my vehicles. any help would be appreciated.

one sure way would be to tape ram songs to audio tape and record them into wavs.Bill in vegas

I can't find the link on TechTV.com but I saw a similar question regarding converting Real Video to AVI yesterday on TV. They talked about a shareware program that would capture sound and/or video from another window. They said it would capture streaming video/audio as well. Sorry I didn't pay enough attention to the segment, but hopefully it will show up in their links later.

Les-- I've posted a couple replies to similar questions. I suggest a small, inexpensive, program that works well for me. Do a search (computer section) for Total Recorder. You'll like it. --Everett

I've converted downloaded ra files to using winamp & an ra input plugin. If I remember correctly, I first converted to wav & then mp3.
