Many of the DSL providers are currently having WIN ME compatibility problems. Could be your problem.
I was considering Earthlink DSL but they currently do not support WIN ME. I would have had to go back to WIN98, which I didn't want to do.
I've read several reports about DSL ISP's not supporting ME, including most of the Local Exchange Companies (telephone companies).
Here is a link that Lori provided a couple of weeks ago on DSL. It has lots of info on it. http://www.dslreports.com/begin

David, I can't help you but I,ve had it since it was released and i'm getting more proud of it every day. I've read a few more product reviews on it and have found out it has a Quick Restore on it. A while back when I had my virus problem I might have been able to click on that instead of having to reload it all. But I do remember reading it would not work with some ISP,s but can't remember which one.
