Program not found ?
This message pops up when I click on certain programs or try to "Read Mail". Some programs wont open.
Windows can nat find FILES.32VXD
This program is needed in opening files of
type 'Application'
I believe this program was deleted while cleaning out a worm virus I detected. How do I get it back & What is it?

John:
.vxd files are virtual device driver files. The one you are missing is most likely from a probgram you have loaded on your computer. It does not seem to be a resident Windows file as I do not have it on my computer. You may try re-loading the programs that give you the error message regarding this file.

One thing I forgot to mention. Check your recycle bin and see if the missing file is in there. If it is you can restore it to it's original location.
My take on that file is that it's not a Microsoft file but some other program as the .32vxd is not a standard file extension. Everything I have on my machine is a .vxd extension.
