Question For Jack

I see from your web site that you used to work specifically with LAN/WAN networks. Can you provide any reason as to why i would need a LAN connection on my computer? You don't need it unless you are going to connect two computers and network them or if you are going to connect to a cable modem (most cable modems use an Ethernet interface). My Compaq Presario came with an Ethernet interface and I'm not using it and wound up disabling it (can't remove it as it's on the motherboard).
