Tried yer SB recorder yet?

The SoundBlaster recorder that comes bundled with the Live model, as well as the newer "Platinum" model I'm sure, has a setting that I've used quite a bit and was wondering if anyone else has. The recorder has a setting on it called "What U hear" and will record ANYTHING that u can hear on the web. Just recorded the 2 versions of "Murder". The Strait/Jackson recording came out real hot while the Larry Cordle/LST rcrding was excellant. Has anyone recorded these (see bar chatter) and experienced the same thing?

Cairo - I've only used the recorder on my Platinum once. I ran my Dobro through my preamp into the Live! drive input. I adjusted the bass & treble to 50%, and let it run for about 5 minutes or so. Got a good sound.

There's so much bundled with that thing, it's hard to get around to using all the goodies!

Ur right Kenny. D'ya think they'd lket me "trade in" all the xtra stuff and get a better deal on the LiveDrive patchBay for the front of the tower? It's such a pain movin' the tower out to get at the ins 'n outs! Now it's gonna cost me an extra 150 to get it. Ahh-the privelege of paying $100 MORE 'cuz I didnt know they were gonna release the "platinum" model 3 months later! Why am I so lucky? Day late and a dollar short....thas me.
