Nashville 1000 Shipping weight.

Post by Bob Jackson »

Would anyone be able to tell me the shipping weight of the Nashville 1000. Peavey list it as 44.9 lbs., is this with the regular BW speaker or with the new version of BW.

Thanks Bob

The Nashville 1000 shipping weight is about 60lbs. The amp itself weighs about 54lbs.

The specification has not been updated. Peavey is aware of this. The weight discrepency is due to the speaker's magnet NOT being one of the new neodymium magnets.

One of the main reasons this was done was to keep the retail price down.

Hello Jim,
Thanks for your inquiry about the Nashville 1000 price. It carries an MSRP of $999.99. If you need an authorized Peavey dealer reference, I'll be glad to get that for you if you can tell me where you are located. Or, you can pull up our website at "www.peavey.com" and use the dealer search function. I'd love to speak with you. You can call me toll free at 1-877-732-8391.

It appears that Peavey is still going to sell a lot of their great Nashville 400's for $400.00 , as it still is a very good buy..al

For some reason this was moved to the computer section, which was the wrong place to move this to.

I'm moving this to Bar Chatter.
