BBE Sonic Maximizer????

Post by Clay Maxam »

I'd never heard of this unit until just recently (But I've led a sheltered life)and
I was wondering if any of you guys have had
any experience with one of them.
Thanx for any words of wisdom.
Best wishes.

At Kenny's suggestion I did the search and found that a number of you guys do indeed use one of these units. I had the chance to borrow one from our bass player this morning and after a couple of hours of pickin' and really grinnin' I decided to get one. Sooooo......lost my mind at a rash moment and got one off of eBay this afternoon.
Thanks again for the words of wisdom from all you fellers that discussed this topic in earlier posts.
Best wishes to ya'll.

I'm curious....What kind of settings do you guys use on the BBE? I've got one in my rack at home and have never plugged my steel into it. Are you using it for brightening your tone, or what? Thanks

Hi John....
Well that's a good question. And since I just borrowed our bass players unit and haven't really had a chance to work with it I can't suggest anything at this time. But maybe some of the guys who have been using them can suggest some settings. If there isn't any response to your question.....do what Kenny Forbess suggested and that's do a search using BBE as the key word. You'll get about a half dozen threads and several of those guys have been using this unit for quite some time. Guess we could email them for some help, huh?
Best wishes.
