? for b0b

Post by Larry Ross »

I have looked but I didn't find the post that I remember reading awhile back that you had left describing a trans-tube fex program update. How much? Where do you get it? What all did it affect? Thanks

I don't want to steal b0b's thunder, but there has been some updates to the TT Fex software. I got one for mine about two years ago that fixed the erratic operation of the tuner. Other than that about the only thing it did was change or reorder some of the factory programs, which are not for steel anyway. I'm not sure what the current software rev is but if you call Mike Brown at Peavey he can clear it up for you. If you want the update you would have to either send it to Peavey or take it to an authorized repair center to have it done, however, it's only a one chip PROM swap out.

Mike Brown's phone number is 1-877-732-8291

If it's the steel programs, I had made an announcement a couple of months ago that I had updated the TT Fex program list on my web page.

It wasn't me. I don't know anything about the TTFex.

Jack thanks for the info. I'll give Ron a call. Bobby, it was late when I was reading the forum that night. Sorry for the confusion.
