Boss BR-8 Recording studio?

Post by Andy Greatrix »

Has anyone had any experience with this digital recording device? I've had good luck with boss products in the past. Also, does anyone know what they cost?

I'm just bringing this up to the top. Is this the right place to post this question? This digital recording device sounds like something I could afford.Has anyone tried it?

Andy, I've never used a BR-8 but Interstate Music has them for $695.98. Their website is www.interstatemusic.com. The company will send you a catalog. Larry

Thanks Larry. That would run around $1000.00 Canadan, give or take a hundred or so.
I would still like some feedback as to how they work.

I think it's kind of early to get feedback on this recorder as it's fairly new. You can read about it's features at Harmony Central>. You can also go to the Roland web site. I know it comes with a zip drive and digital outs which would be good for mastering to your hard drive, i suppose.

Roland and Tascam have also released two recorders with effects that work with your computer hard drive.
