Sound Card Upgrade

I installed a Soundblaster Live! Platinum sound card along with Cambridge Soundworks Digital Speakers this week, and I can't believe the sound! Of course, being used to non-powered monitor mounted speakers, almost anything would be an improvement.

The biggest advantage I have now, is taking material we record live on DAT and going direct to my computer. Not having to convert analog to digital is pretty cool!

The downside is not having my recliner in the same room as my computer, as the sound is better than my component system.

It certainly does, both optical and SP/DIF connections.
