reverb pedal

Post by Steve B »

Does anyone know about the new Danelectro reverb pedal? I think that retail is about $50, and I was thinking of trying it. Right now, I use a only a delay pedal (no reverb on the amp) and the dry tone is pretty good, but the delay sounds kind of weird. I just dont have an amp w/ built in reverb, and I would rather not have to spend money on another amp right now, so a pedal or rack unit is probably what I need.

Steve.
Peavy makes or used to make a single space rack mount, tube spring reverb and tremolo. I think it's called trem-o-verb oor something like that. I have one stashed in my shop cause I'm building a house and there ain't no room in our trailer. It is AWESOME!!! The sound is like an old Fender box and the trem is very expandable from slow to fast. The unit also kicks a#* as a preamp into your amp or power amp. Very breathy and emotional. E-mail me if you need more info, I can dig it out.

the unit is called the
Peavy Valverb. Chrome front w/ chicken head knobs. Way too cool.

A pawn shop by my hose has one of these peavey Valverb units. What is a fair price for one?
