Peavey Special 2\12

Post by Ronney Bailey »

I Use a Peavey Special 2\12.This is a 3 channel amp with 200 watt output is a new transtube technology amp with 2 12" Sheffield
high output speakers has a 3 button foot switch for channel and effects switching. This amp with the right settings and effects
is a KILLER AMP for steel as well as lead guitar or back ground music. This amp has KILLER tone and sustain!Has settings for
everything 23 control knobs and buttons has
a sound like tube amps and has a sound out of this world! Sence I not only play steel but also Play lead this is a exellent amp at a great price around the $600 mark.I play a lot
of lead and will have my 6 string custom Electra with onboard computer and sound effects on my lap as I play the steel then switch to the guitar and pick up the lead and back to the Steel. This is one AWESOME AMP the
only thing better would be a transFex Amp but
this is My oppinion Check them out.....
[This message was edited by Ronney Bailey on 27 January 2000 at 04:11 AM.]

Ronnie; I bought one too and I can`t believe the versatility of it.A little on the heavy side but not as heavy as the Renown I retired.Best amp Ive owned in years- and the price was right. Tommy

Yes it is a little Heavey but you can't beat it! I put Casters on it so you can roll it around.I have a fold up compact dolly I use to take it where ever I take it to as well as my steel. There Great amps!
