I hope he GUARANTEES the tuning. I'd sure hate to invest $25,000.00 US (read:$39,000.00 Cdn) in a guitar only to have it go out of tune during the first week! Lordy, that would mean I'd have to have it "professionally" tuned again...more expense! For that kind of money, I'd expect FREE shipping!!! Hmmmm, he says it can play any kind of "cords"...would it handle a 10' ft cord or even a 20' cord ? Makes me wonder if this guy is actually a steel guitarist ?
that's not exactly true... and that ain't no bear...that's a Beanie Baby!
Nice to see your name here Chuck - hope all is well.<FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by HowardR on 07 February 2004 at 06:35 PM.]</p></FONT>
Man, there's one born every day. I'll bet you guys pay extra for rust-proofing at the car dealership too. What a bunch of roobs. I have it on good authority that these instruments were tuned at the factory. So you don't need to pay extra for tuning. I'm not going a cent over $20,000.
Back when I ran a local music shop I had a customer who wanted a new guitar based on the guarantee because her guitar wasn't in tune anymore. It's true. It took me a long time to convince her that it's quite normal for a guitar to go out of tune.........
I see that your Beanie Baby still has the tag on the ear. DON'T REMOVE THE TAG!!!!!! If you do you won't be able to sell it for $3000. Don't jeopardize your retirement years!
wht's the big deal ?
the guitar so far has only reached 276.33$
Howard, don't put the little cutie on ebay
i'll take it
just let me know how much you want for him
from what i hear, he plays his butt off
and i need a good teacher
Anyone who would pay a tenth of that price would be a certifiable idiot. What is the most a bakelite has sold for? Does anyone know? Gerald is going to buy up all the bakelites to get the price to go up, then retire in Honolulu.
Cheers BILL
