Gambling Casino in Nashville??

James, I am pretty sure the Lottery referendum for the state of Tennessee did not allow any Casinos or Horse Tracks, only the Lottery, although I'm sure that the powers that be can twist and turn it anyway they want to.....it would not be the first time the people were lied to by politicians!

Seems like around here new casinos are springing up every time you turn around. And VLT's in all the lounges etc. I don't know many people who go to them often, but the casino parking lots are always full. I don't know if the fact that every town of 10,000 plus has at least one casino is cutting down the crowds at places like Vegas, or whether the market share just keeps growing. How many casinos can this world hold? I guess we'll find out.....

The Gaylords have been gambling with country music for years. They have just about cashed in all the chips. Although they have claimed to be losing in the game, Country music has been the big loser. so loser + loser = Country music fans...Now starring in the Opryland Casino Barf Brooks.Cheney Keshney,Twainia shame.While in town take the tour to the former Grand ole Opry sight.oops your parking on it.

When I was playing around Nashville in the early 70s,every little bar and rib joint had a couple of pinball machines that you could build up points/replays and cash them in for money. The barkeep would hand you cash - then use a little key to zero out the machine.
