Damnit, there is nothing to complain about tonight. Jim Ed is a tradition, Diamond Reo Was good eventhough they had no steel. Stop and try to imagine how much better they would have sounded if they had had Tommy playing with them. Gillian Welch is anything but a folk singer. She and David Rollins were great, not much to look at but damn good singers. Travis Tritt did fine with some good shots of his steel player that I didn't recognize nor what steel he was playing and Clint Black filled the ticket perfectly with Jeff Peterson playing steel (I told you, Jack!). Jeff sounded great on his new LeGrande III and copped some good shots of both thanks to Teresa White. All and all it was a great lineup and I'm sorry that the Osborne Bros. were the weakest link tonight but I don't know who I would have kicked. One last note, I hope all of you noticed Tommy's new Derby. It is emerald green and is absolutely beautiful and sounds as good as it looks. I'm done now so do you have anything to add Theresa?

Steve Sturm was Travis Tritt's steel player. He was playing a Bethel and sounded great. Leigh, I didn't notice an excess of interviews. Seemed like the same fair amount of singing this week also.
I called him Tim but realized there is a Tim Sturm that I knew. That's what I get for thinking.
[This message was edited by Bobbe Seymour and 17 beautiful, young blondes who don't know anymore about what they're doing than Mike Weirauch on 09 December 2001 at 02:55 PM.]

[This message was edited by Mike Weirauch on 09 December 2001 at 03:01 PM.]
