Recording on the road.

Post by John Lacey »

Had a ball last weekend playing in Yorkton Saskatchewan with the George Canyon band. George and I brought along our Roland VS-1680 hard disk recorders and it was non-stop recording of his demo and my projects at "Studio A" and "Studio B", aka rooms 262 and 264. Having a great 6 piece band with forumite Greg Derksen on lead guitar and Mike Peters on guitar and mandolin, we were able to fill in some tracks that were needed plus kill some of the many hours available during the long days waiting for the gig. By the way, we didn't want to go out much anyway, on leaving day it was -43 below with a wind chill.

Hello John!
Keep that machine warmed up. I'm coming home in July with a bunch of songs I've composed over here in China.
Say hello to Brent and Neighour for me.
All the best,-Andy
PS I guess you heard about Ron "The Fiddler" Boychuk.-Sad
