Does anyone know the where about or if he still plays music. Curly Fox was one of the greatest fiddle players I ever heard. I believe he was married to Texas Ruby, who died in a fire, I believe.

I'm not sure where I saw it but I belive Curly passed away a couple years ago.

Curly was a good friend of my brother James(Big Tex) Brown.Curly would come over to his house in Plainwell Mich. I have a few of his recordings. Does any one have any pictures,or does anyone know of my brother Big Tex? He passed away several years back and I would like any information. He played with Rex Allen Sr. in the 50's. Was just wondering.James was 6ft.8in tall and weighed 411lbs.

Don't remember your brother, but I did find some good info on Curly Fox. I did a search for him on google and it turned up quiet a bit of information. He has several recording that I'll try to find.

Good luck on some news of your brother, at his size I would imagine that people didn't forget him (g).
