Anyone hear George Straits new release?

I heard it on the radio yesterday, I didn't
catch the name of it, the DJ said it has not
yet been released. Anyway, It is a real shot in the arm for country music lovers. Great stuff, heard the song done once by an unknown
band with the great Ralph Mooney on steel.

Yes, I heard it.

But like you, I can't remember the name of it.

I'm sure we'll be hearing more of it, though.

Now a new song I really like is "The Little Girl" by John Michael Montgomery.

I heard a New(?) George Strait song but the only thing I remember about it was it sounded more like the "new" Nashville Country than it did his older more traditional stuff.

The name of the new release is "Go On"!
I think it's #4 already. This song just shows how versatile George can be. Theresa

I listened that song, the Ralph Mooney version I have and I (think) the title
is "Darling your stronger than me" I'm sure
time will tell. The Strait version had a killer steel intro with a nice feel throughout the song.

Theresa, I think your right, we may be talking about 2 different songs. The DJ said
this cd has not been released yet. I heard it once and have not heard it since last Sunday. I remember once I heard AJ's "pop a
top" on the radio before the CD was released
maybe this is the case here. see ya.

Ron,

It's VERY common to release the first single off a CD before the CD has been released.

In fact, I'd say it's almost ALWAYS done that way.

Is this radio DJ a psychic? I wonder how he hears the raection of his audience?

The smilie face is made with a colon immediately followed by a right parenthesis. The wink is made with a semi-colon immediately followed by a right parenthesis.

A big smile is made with a colon immediately followed by a capital D.
