Bob it looks a little messy at present.
I tried to trim some photos without success
and they come out larger with the digital camera then photographs I scan.

Set your digital camera up for the 600x800 resolution and the photos should be O.K. for the forumn use. As we mostly only want to show the photos via the computer, the low resolution is more than acceptable as the 72 DPI settings of most Monitors allows for good and clear repoduction. Of course, If you are going to print the photos, another set of rules come into play.
