Word is Joe Talbot former exec in several Country music organizations and one time steeler for Hank Snow passed away Friday.

Yes, Joe Talbot has passed away. Eddie Stubbs was talking about Big Joe's passing on last night's "Opry Star Spotlight" program on WSM. Great player, remember he was on some of the EARLY Charley Pride recordings also. I never met him but enjoyed his playing and his accurate pitch and great tone.
