Would all of who have a copy of this album please tell me who is the writer of the song "Rose" I have the CD but it dosen't have any of that information. Conway sings his tail off on that one and John Hughey was awesome (still is)

Hi Jason - welcome to the forum. According to my source, COWPIE Song Coral, the words and music to "The Rose" were by a Ms. Amanda McBroom. If I'm not mistaken, Bette Midler had the biggest hit on this song. But we know Conway did it the BEST with help from our friend John H.
