Dayna Wills & Tommy Morrell

Post by Jim Cohen »

Been listening to Dayna's 3 western swing recordings, all with Tommy Morrell on them, plus a whole bunch of former Bob Wills bandmembers. Folks, if you love western swing, order these recordings. They are super! She's got a great voice, and great vocal stylings, and the band simply cannot be beat. You'll hear plenty of fine work by Morrell on them too. Very fine stuff!

Jim,
Thanks for the testimonial.
Yes, people, Greg Hardy's CD is super. My fave is Bow Legged Woman, even tho I know it's not "lady-like" to like that one, HA!
Janice, vols. 1&2 are still only available on cassette. At this time, it isn't financially prudent to offer them on CD.
