Cool lick in C - E9

Post by Dave Alfstad »

This lick is used to go from a V chord to a I chord, or in this case G-C. I can't take credit for the lick though because I "stole" it off of a Joan Herndon recording. I like the lick for it's versatility. You could use it with many different phrasings.

If you would like to hear the lick, go to my website at http://www.geocities.com/Nashville/Bluegrass/4625 and you can download a wav file of me playing the lick both slow and fast. This is Lick Number One on my site. (The only one so far.)
