Nathan Fleming, the touring pedal steel player for Charley Crockett's band, will visit Swallow Hill to lead a workshop focusing on skills to enhance your pedal steel practice routine.
In Nathan's own words:
-----------------------
I’ve been playing steel guitar for over 20 years. Picked up numerous bad habits along the way, unlearned most of them. Was fortunate to play with some of Texas country music’s legends—Johnny Bush, Bobby Flores, Darrell McCall, Curtis Potter, and others. Currently touring and recording with Charley Crockett.
I’ve been teaching steel guitar for several years now. I consider myself to be a lifelong student of the instrument, and I have found that teaching a thing helps me to understand it more deeply. Which, in turn, helps me to teach it better. And so on…
What I aim to show, particularly in a group setting, is that the fundamental skills necessary to be a good steel guitarist are scalable to any skill level. Much of what I practice is essentially the same kind of stuff I would prescribe for a first-year beginner. I believe any student of the steel, at any experience level, can benefit from what I will teach in this seminar.

Is there any chance of a livestream or recording of this being available to purchase?
