Toronto Meetup and Jam - Wednesday October 15th 1pm (alternate Saturday November 8th 9pm)

Hi Folks,

After 81 years of operation, our family is closing down the Imperial Pub in November of this year. I'm hosting one last steel jam (maybe two) and I'd like to open it up to anyone who cares to join.

Please join us at 54 Dundas St E. on October 15th at 1pm. I'll try to arrange for a drummer and a bassist, but we may end up rotating on other instruments like we have in the past. There's a pretty good backline here, but please bring your own amp (or reach out ahead of time). This is a short list of songs that some of us have played together in the past and might serve to get things started, but no preparation is required: Crazy Arms, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, A Way to Survive, Tennessee Waltz, Together Again, & Mansion On The Hill. RSVPs sent to richard@imperialpub.com are appreciated but not required.

The back room is also available in the evening of November 8th after 9pm. If there is anyone who can't make a weekday afternoon and wants to come down, I'll plan to be around then, as well. If there's interest, we could plan a second jam.

I hope to meet some more Toronto steel players.
