Deburring changer finger tops

I need to smooth them out while still in the guitar (70’ pp). What methods have worked for you, details please.

What do you mean by "deburring"?

String grooves in finger tops. I have gotten tips about 1000+ emery paper; Dremel tool polishing etc. Keep them coming.

If you are going to use emery cloth, Back it with a hard flat strip of wood or metal, and follow the curve of the finger.

Wood Craft sells a set of 8000 grit stones, Wet stone with water, Work curve of finger, Will polish a changer finger to a mirror finish.
