Midnight in Montgomery chord progression?

Post by Tommy Auldridge »

Someone in the band said it's in the key of F , but it seems to me that it is in the key of Dm. In any case I need the chord progression. If you would be kind enough to help. Thanks, Tommy.....

Try this thread Tommy: viewtopic.php?t=192051&hilit=midnight+in+montgomery

Depending on your browser, if the text is too small, right click on the pic, read the header bar 'open image in new tab' and then click on that to enlarge the font.

I don't know the key offhand....looks like F. Dm is the relative minor of F, so either or.

It’s in a minor key for sure! But if you would analyze it with Nashville numbers I think you could refer to the Dm as the 6m as if you were in the key of F.
