Did any well known steel players play a Sho Bud Super Pro regularly?

Carmen Accioli played a Sho-Bud Super Pro with Michael Martin Murphey and still plays one now. Mike Daly played a Super Pro with Hank Williams Jr and back in 1998, a red Sho-Bud Super Pro appeared in a video called "Guilty " by a duo called the Warren Brothers(Brad and Brett Warren)

Carmen makes that blonde Super Pro sing. Great player, great sound. Looks like he has some recent humbuckers in there too.
Check him out on YT under Carmen Acciaioli.

Ralph Mooney played a Super Pro before he played GFI steels.

I think Don Pawluk also played a Super Pro at one time. I know he played Pro II, but I think I remeber a video with SP, but I have been known to be wrong.

I think Mooney used one, for awhile, with Waylon.

I think Jernigan was playing a Super Pro the the mid to late 1970’s. Have a look at his Cross Country LP cover from 1977. I believe it is a Super Pro but not sure.

I believe Jernigan played a “Super Pro II,” with all aircraft aluminum parts and no pot metal. He had it for sale on his website for quite a while.

I think Don Pawlak with Dale Watson still plays one. I remember meeting him in the 90's when we shared a bill together in San Francisco...we both had Super Pro's and Webb amps! :) Mine served me well.

Was the second one in the "Long Line Of Love" video?

Release date for “Long Line of Love”
was 1987. I had the guitar then and
The one on the video shows less Birds Eye in the maple. So yes I believe it’s the newer one.😊

The late Phil Coontz was a devout Super Pro player. He played this Tobacco burst for many years.
You may recall he played briefly with Mel Tillis. Later on with Jeanne Shephard in Nashville and later on to Branson with Mo Bandy and the Kendalls to name a few.
