Nashville 112: Effects In or Power Amp in?
Any difference if using just the power amp and speaker (pre EQ)?

Hi Bob, the signal flow thru the jacks is like this:
Input >> Pre EQ Send/Return >> Post EQ Send/Return >> Preamp Out/Power Amp In . There's more detail in the drawing below, from the user manual.
If you just want to use the power amp and speaker, plug into the "Power Amp In" jack on the back. Master Gain and headphones will still work.

Bob, the block diagram flows from top left (input jacks) to the right, then down, then back to the left, to the speaker.
So Pre EQ Return jack feeds into the EQ. Post EQ Return jack bypasses the EQ. Both use the preamp, reverb and power amp.
Power Amp In jack only uses the power amp. Your ToneX is a preamp, so you can run it into this jack if you want. If so, they recommend turning off the CAB in the presets.
