Re: Has anyone gone 100% kemper?
I have been using the Kemper player pedal for about 6 months with a Fender fr-10 speaker and love the combo. The pedal unit is great because you get all the profiles and effects in a very portable package. It throws to FOH via XLR and sounds awesome through the PA. I use a fender twin profile mostly and it’s very true to an actual twin tone. An additional benefit of the Kemper is the expression pedal input - I sold my Hilton and Goodrich pedals in favour of a mission engineering expression pedal that is designed specifically for Kempers. This allows me to quickly change the location of the pedal in the chain (input, post effects, post stack) or alternatively, change its function to a wah pedal which I like for rock and psych stuff. After experimenting with several FRFR speakers I settled on the Fender fr-10 because it has great punch and sounds like a real amp. For gigs I usually use IEMs connected to a little Behringer p2 unit - I get a line out from the mixing board which plugs into the Behringer. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this lightweight and portable set up. Would strongly recommend the Kemper.

Can't wait to see reviews of the new 2.0 profiling and see if if it's worth the hype!
