Overseas Concert

Post by Harold Bullard »

Does anyone know the story of this concert? ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs1E6sojkg0) I think it would be very interesting to know how this came about. Where it is. Why it happened. What language this is? How the Nashville A-team came to play this show.

If there is a dvd or cd from this concert, I want it! So far I've seen 2 videos on YouTube and they're amazing. The steel solo on Walking The Floor Over You is absolutely one of the most amazing steel solos I've ever heard.

It part of the Faroe Islands which is Denmark. The islands are divided by numbers and this was #29. I have no other information but that was taken from Wikipedia.

THANKS FRANK! I could have never found that Exactly what I was hoping to see. And thanks to Mr. Franklin for sharing that. That's why they're called the A-team. The musicianship doesn't get any better. I just wish there was a dvd or cd of that show.

Hey Harold -
My memory is a little fuzzy but I think Paul had another post about the Faroe Island gig. I think one of them was something about about having to "dig in on the strings" on the Bud. Great stuff and as always, great playing!

I love the way Paul's head is "bouncin'" during the song HER. This man is focused. He is in a zone.
