Reverb pedal

Post by Pete Martin »

I just purchased a tweed Deluxe and now need a reverb pedal for my 56!stringmaster. Any reasonably priced suggestions?

Thanks

Pete

For my tweeds I splurged and bought a Surfybear. However if you're looking for a reasonably priced pedal, I can recommend the Sonicake Levitate reverb/delay at $56. The reverb sounds surprisingly good and the delay allows delays up to two seconds. I liked it better than the pricy Oceans 11 pedal I had for a bit.

I'll always recommend the Caroline Meteore. It's the opposite of "lush". It's distinctly lo-fi, with a pronounced slap effect and a coarse, grungy reverb sound. It does what's great about spring reverb, better than springs imho - certainly better than any spring-emulating digital pedal! It would fit nicely with the warm, loose sound of a Tweed Deluxe.
