Post by dlayne »

How do I full travel with my Emmons pedal. I’ve tried retapping the string on the pot but it keeps feeling like I’m only getting half the travel,,, any advice ,suggestions and have any of you Emmons pedal users ever had this issue

You may have your pedal bar mounted a bit too close to the floor and the "column" of the pedal (where one end of the string attaches) is hitting the floor and not allowing full movement.. To prevent, ensure there is about 1/2 inch below the bottom of the pedal bar and the top of the rubber foot on the front legs when you assemble your guitar. If it is too low, you will probably have to adjust all your pedal rods as well after you move the pedal bar so that your pedals will be at the right height again..
