New tube preamp in Europe

Post by Bas Kapitein »

New tube preamps for (pedal) steel guitar.

These amplifiers are individually built by Anne Doedens in Europe for the European steel players and have everything any steelie could wish for; ,
• Point to point tube technology using 6SN7 tubes and based on the Fender tweed amplifiers of the 60’s.
• Variable impedance control (Z) for optimum adaptation to each pick-up.
• A complete tone control; high, low and mid, with variable frequency,
similar to Peavey in its famous steel amplifiers.
• Wide output control that makes it possible to drive any guitar amplifier or line level input.

Everything in a compact housing both available in a rectangular shape (9.5 inch) with a toroidal transformer, but also in a special model with a remarkable octagonal cabinet with the tubes visible in all their glory.

The builder/designer; Anne Doedens “Mr Bassman”, is an electro-technical engineer specialized in tube technology and trained in the 60s at the height of tube amplifiers. In addition to his bass guitar, he plays pedal steel very well.
He knows what steel guitarists are looking for and makes each copy by hand and also very affordable.
Prices range from €325 to €375

Send me a PM for additional information, Anne is good with tubes but not with English
