Oops, San Antonio, not Austin?

Post by Len Amaral »

Originally, I thought I was going to Austin May 30-June 4th but it's San Antonio instead. Anyone playing in San Antonio during this time. I'm attending a trade show. Would love to hear a band with some steel guitar.

I’m playing may 30th in San Antonio with a chamber music/jazz type ensemble at a place called Ruby City. I will post more details later or you can get in touch.

Hey Bob, thanks for responding. May 30 is my travel day but I should arrive in San Antonio mid afternoon. I would enjoy dropping in and seeing you perform. My cohort from Tel Aviv will be with me and I am sure it would be an experience for him as well.

It's not San Antonio but pretty far South Austin. Sam's Town Point Monday and Tuesday while you're here has James Shelton at 7:00 for Steel Monday and Marty Muse's Strictly Hardly Marty Party on Tuesday at 7:30. Followed by Linda Gail Lewis, Jerry Lee's Sister. It doesn't get much better than that if you don't mind the hour+ drive.

You can drive 45 mins to Gruene Hall or an hour & a half up to Austin, Broken Spoke, plus all the stuff in San Antone itself. I wonder where Ken Metcalf might be at. You should have some pretty solid options.
