I’m building a 12 string pedal steel using some old Sho bud parts I recently bought.
I’ve built a cabinet using ply which I will probably replace when it’s all up and running as I didn’t want to make any mistakes using expensive wood!
I’ve designed and have most of the materials for the of steel now, just need a set of legs, but I’ll probably use a set off one of my other steels just to keep the project moving.
Pics below show the parts and the project to stage 1. More to follow.

Re: Sho Bud 12 string build
Im kinda doing the same thing. I purchased the c6 parts from a D10 converted to an S10. I have a homebuilt CNC machine that Ill be making the cabinet with. The Endplates are a big challange. I just purchased the legs from a vendor on the forum.
Anyway, keep up the good work, looks good!

Re: Sho Bud 12 string build
Thanks Kurt
I’ve just purchased some GFI legs and pedal rods. I’m going to fabricate the endplates and I’m going to get the maple wood next week from a local timber supplier. Hope to get it on its legs in a month or so. Good luck with your build some pics would be nice.
Alan.
