Innovative steel guitarists. New EP.

Post by Gary Peters »

Hi

There was a very interesting post recently on innovative steel players practising today. I did get a couple of mentions, not many obviously (!!), but a few...thanks to my supporters (I think I have about 5). Anyway, I don't really care about that, what I do care about is continuing to try and realize such innovation. It's not a one-off thing, you have to work at it constantly every hour, every day otherwise it is just one stale innovation, which isn't really innovation at all. Here's a link to an EP I have just produced today. I think it's innovative, not because it's 'weird' or 'unusual' but because I had to go beyond what I'd played before in order to produce it. That is true of virtually everything I do (except for when I don't). Enjoy!

Thanks Tucker! I think you were one of the 5, if not, I'm up to 6 now. But seriously, thanks!
