In Nashville, Interested in trying out a Duesenberg Steel

Post by Aaron Hicks »

Hey y'all!

Not sure if this is the right section to post in but I'm in the Nashville area and really itching to try out a Duesenberg Lap Steel (fairytale, alamo whatever!) Wondering if there are any players who own one in the area that might be open to me trying theirs out? I'm learning on a locally made Alden with some benders that are a little less than smooth so I'm curious how much of a difference the $2,000 upgrade would provide

Thanks so much!

Well, personally I disliked my Duesenberg. I found the benders difficult to use and in the way when I wasn't using them. String breakage was a real issue and trying to change the string after you broke a string, extremely frustrating. I sold it within a month of getting it.
