Re: Session 400 Filter Caps
Thanks, DennisDennis Detweiler wrote: 17 Apr 2025 6:42 am I replaced all of the Molex connector pins on my 1974 Session 400. Over the years, I've always had problems with them losing contact or loosening. Then had to pound on top of the cabinet to "sometimes" regain connection. I also soldered the pins to the wires instead of using the factory crimp. The new pins and soldering the wires to the pins should help to keep it more dependable. I replaced the filter caps and other smaller caps and added the bypass caps. The amp is dead quiet and sounds better than when I bought it new in 1974.
Just need to locate a source for those caps
