Benders on SX2 w/ stock bridge???? Would you change bridge?
I've seen a few folks mount benders on an SX2 with the stock bridge..
I got a great deal on a SX2. I'm thinking of adding Peters or Certano Benders but curious if you feel like it's critical to change out the stock bridge?

It’s a good idea to have a nut and saddle with rollers if you’re going to install palm benders on a steel.
That said, benders will still work without rollers. Your strings may not last as long, and your pitch bends may not be as smooth. You will also be more prone to string breakage.
I installed a Duesenberg Multibender on my SX3, which comes with individual saddle rollers on every string. I still have the original stock nut installed. Therefore I have a roller bridge, and a non-roller stock nut.
My experience is that it works fine, and is perfect for practice and the occasional gig.
I love how light and portable the SX3 with the Multibender is.
If I intended to perform with my SX3 regularly, I’d certainly replace the stock nut with a roller nut. If I used it on enough gigs, that would justify buying a used Duesenberg if I could find one. I’m not convinced that Duesenbergs are worth their $3,000 price point. I do like the built-in capo. That’s a handy feature.
Just my 2¢.
