Steel player on Country Cavalcade
I don’t know how to put the video on here; but it’s on YouTube. Just type in Lefty Frizzell with Del Reeves. You’ll see Del wearing a green suit. Now, start at 16:11 and hear Lefty sing Mom and Dad’s waltz. Who is playing the steel? Absolutely beautiful tone!- and as far as I can tell no effects pedals!

Thanks for posting. As soon as I heard the steel I knew it was an Emmons push/pull. Don't know the player but the tone is great!

I don't know either, but I'll post the video here so people don't have to search it out. I'm betting there are several players here who do know who 'tis.
I have some ideas but I don't want to embarrass myself by just guessing.
