Does anyone have any experience with Carvin speakers for pedal steel?
I took this one out of a PA cabinet. I plugged in my pedal steel as a test, and it definitely has the range bottom to top for C6 and E9.
Any info appreciated.

Carvin USA speakers were made by Eminence. I have a bunch of them and I like them for regular guitar. I have never used them for PSG/lap steel guitar. Perhaps I should.
I see no reason not to use them if you like the sound of them.
My PA system is made by the old defunct Carvin and it still works just fine. I do miss Carvin.

I bought this speaker new direct from Carvin many years ago. One of their engineers worked with me by phone to design a tuned ported PA cabinet for it, and it sounded awesome.

I was happy with the tone from the stock Carvin speaker in the 80’s XT-100 tube amp I have. I changed it to a JBL K-130 but really wish I’d left it as it was as I can’t go back.
