The Sweetest sounding Pedal steel I've ever owned

Post by Bill McCloskey »

I have had a lot of steels in my life, but today I picked up what could be the sweetest sounding and playing Pedal Steel I've ever owned. I just purchased the late Stu Schulman's Desert Rose S10 4x5. Many thanks to Dave Grafe who was kind enough to sell it to me. I real keeper. You'll have to bury me with this guitar. I was really unfamiliar with Desert Rose steels before this. Check out the inlay on the front.

Great looking guitar, I think that was the one Stu played at the PSGA show a few years back soon after he came back from Alaska, I'll try and see if I have a picture from then.
Regards, Craig

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.

I bought up all the used Truetone pickups I could find last year, auditioned them all and kept the sweetest to my ears, glad it works for you too 🤗

Yes it is the same guitar, there is a photo of Stu and Dan Tyack playing side by side but I can't for the life of me figure out how to post photos with the new software. Soon come...
