Shoji Psg

Post by Sonny Jenkins »

Well my friend Toshiyuki just sent me some devastating news,,,he has been hospitalized and diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome!! Seems he is partially paralyzed (his wife actually typed and sent the email) and his production of guitars is on hold for the time being. I don't know what the prognosis is at this time, I do know that he has been under a tremendous amount of pressure, at least for the past year or so,,,and that he did not have any kind of insurance while employed at EXCEL. Also that he was VERY close to getting into production with his line of guitars. I was hoping to get 2-3 guitars to display in Dallas in March,,,but not sure now.

I'll keep everyone posted with any more news as I get it. Let's keep him in our prayers,,,Toshi is a real gentleman and a superb craftsman,,,the real deal!!!!
