But the original case is junk.
Covered with gaffer tape, the hinges are all loose, the latches don't work and there's some clear weakness in one of the sides.
I built a case for it in my shop from re-purposed wood.
Built like a tank would be better description.
The case alone isn't terribly heavy. The guitar alone isn't terribly heavy. But, the case and the guitar together with legs is heavy - uncomfortably so.
Are there sources who can rebuild old original cases?
