Hi folks I am looking for some measurements. I need to know the material thickness of your pedal board 1/8", 3/16", 1/4" etc...and what guitar brand it came from.
here is a drawing of the measurement I need.

Wayne, the problem as you already may be aware is torsion, when the stop is hit at the cabinet the the foot's pressure pushes the pedal rack down and out, as the fulcrum of forces becomes the pedal hook up which is on the player's side ("inside")... so, some of the downward pressure is "radiated" to the front (for the lack of better words).
A U-channel like most have used needs to be extremely thick and thus heavy not to flex as it is positioned totally inadequately to counteract the forces it is subjected to. In other words, it's the wrong application for that shape.
I would favor a thinner walled rectangular box-channel and cut out "windows" where the pedals come in the interior of the channel.
Having some ribs welded into the channel would further mitigate that torsion.
I just got some older MSA parts around and the wall thickness on those guitars U-channel pedal rack was 7/32 to 15/64 ! It's HEAVY and could be rated a lethal weapon much superior to a base ball bat.

A Little Mental Health Warning:
Tablature KILLS SKILLS.
The uses of Tablature is addictive and has been linked to reduced musical fertility.
Those who produce Tablature did never use it.
This is another of those physics things steel guitars are known for.
If you stiffen the pedal bar till it does not flex, This puts more pull on the guitars body, Causing Cabinet Drop and detuning exposes it's nasty face.
When the pedal is shoved down, With the mechanical advantage of the pedal ratio leverage pulling the pedal bar up toward the guitar body, And the pedal leverage is pulling on the pedal rod, Which is pulling the front apron toward the pedal bar.
GFI upper and lower edges are .130 thick, Front is .190 thick, It also has part of 2 half moons in the center that the pedals slide into and pivots, Within the half moons. Giving the pedal board a lot more stiffness.
Folks thank you for the physics part of this post ...however I am just looking for the thickness of the pedal bar that different manufactures used.

1983 Zumsteel D10 1/8" both dimensions, the horizontal (top and bottom flanges) are possibly very slightly thicker but not more than 1/32" if that. It does visibly flex when pedals are pressed.
1971 Emmons also 1/8" horizontal, unable to measure the vertical (center) thickness as the ends are attached to leg clamps. No noticeable flexing on this one, probably steel rather than aluminum.

'71 Emmons S-10 pedal bar front thickness is 0.121". The throat of my micrometer was just deep enough to get the measurement. I should mention that Tommy Cass spent a lot of time polishing out lots of deep scratches in this pedal bar when he restored the steel, so it used to be thicker!
