The Nat'l Swing Band of Texas

One of my most treasured CDs is Curtis Potter and the National Swing Band of Texas bought from the stage at the Cotton Club in Granger, Texas. Steve's and everyone's playing is superb! Hopefully there will be another one a little closer to Central Texas soon?

For anyone unfamiliar with Steve P, he is a monster player and can play any style of music on steel masterfully - one of my all time favorites.

As Craig Stock says, if you're a honky tonk steel fan, Steve's playing on Gary Stewart's Live at Billy Bob's album is a classic - a wall to wall encyclopedia of great licks and all live.

Here's Steve with a cool version of Night Life...

How often do dad and son get to play together? That always has to be fun.

It doesn't get any better than this!
Hi Steve!
Buddy was totally stoked that you grabbed his playing.
My best to you....
