Jesse Personeni was playing with them last year, he's a really great young player from northern California. This is Jesse in this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEIk47lVE1I

Does He Tune By Ear?

Post by Barry Yasika »

Thanks Guys, I saw a video of him warming up and tuning up. To me "it looked" like he was tuning by ear? Is that right? I know you can leave your volume on and tune but he seemed to be tuning using the strings octaves. He's a great young player, great sound and style too.

Jesse is an old soul in a young body. He loves the old pre pedals stuff and can rip some Joaquin Murphy. Really nice guy.

Jesse also plays a
Vintage Sho Bud crossover ( looks 100% original ) and sounds nothing short of spectacular through his vintage Standel amp!!!
