Steel Guitar Rag on my Rickenbacher B6-video-

Post by Sebastian Müller »

Hello friends,

here is a video of the classic steel guitar rag, performed with my new Honky Tonk Band George & his New Heartaches. I am using open E tuning on my trusted Rickenbacher B6.

Hope you like it 😊 !
Aloha
Sebastian

Fantastic Sebastian! The Rickenbacker was rocking!

When you say you are in OPEN E, are you using E B E G# B E

or E G# B E G# B ?

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply, I was on a short holiday trip. Thank you so much for all your kind comments, it is so much fun playing with this fellows.
Toni, since my main tuning is A Highbass I am playing a unusual version of open E, low to Hi G# B E G# B E.
We will do a small Northern Europe tour soon, please come by and say hi if we play close to your hometown :)
best

Sebastian

That was the first tune I ever learned. On a National tricone.

No plans for a South Europe Tour to Portugal or Spain? So I have to go to Berlin to see you play.

Thanks for the link and the fine performance. Now that I know how it can sound, I will get back to practicing. Thanks to you and all the other skilled artists. Maybe one day I will join your ranks.
