Rob Ickes Interview
Hey everyone, if you’d like to hear a pretty lengthy interview with Rob Ickes, I just released this today. Thought y’all might enjoy it here. He plays a really cool arrangement of “Somewhere Over The Raiinbow” near the end too.

Thank you Steve, that was great! Being two hours long I divided it into two listening sessions. Not a boring minute throughout the entire podcast.Steve Dawson wrote:Hey everyone, if you’d like to hear a pretty lengthy interview with Rob Ickes, I just released this today. BFF's we're not, but I've been casual friends with Rob for many years since he is originally from the greater Bay Area, where I have lived most of my life. Great guy, and the music just drips out of his pores as it does with his duo partner Trey Hensley, who is also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
Rob mentions in the podcast how the first time he and Trey played with Tommy Emmanuel was in San Francisco at The Palace of Fine Arts, and how that went on become a great musical relationship among the three. My wife and I were there that evening with a couple of friends - fantastic concert!
